Roots Organics Original is a ready to use mix created with a balanced air to water ratio of porosity and water retention to allow for frequent feeding of fast growing, heavy feeding plants.
Roots Organic Soil Original Potting Soil
- Roots Organics Green Fields is an ocean-nutrient-based growing mix designed for both the vegetative-and flowering phases of mature plants.
- Green Fields was designed with greater water-holding capacity, yet it is free-draining for frequent feeding of fast-growing, heavy feeding plants. Green Fields is a ready-to-use soil created with less perlite and pumice, and specific ingredients such as fish meal and crab meal, worm castings, bat guano, and kelp meal.
- Our Roots Organics soil bags double as pots – just cut the top off, drop the plant in, and you’re ready to go.
Perlite, Coco Fiber, Peat Moss, Composted Forest Material, Pumice, Worm Castings, Bat Guano, Soybean Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Fishbone Meal, Kelp Meal, and Greensand.
This coco-based soil contains peat, pumice, and our own in-house perlite. The perlite and coco base allow for quick draining and even drying for frequent feeding of fast growing, heavy feeding plants. Begin feeding 10 to 21 days after transplanting for vigorous fruiting and flowering plants.
Place Roots Organics Original Potting Soil in a container with drainage holes. Place enough Roots Organics soil in the pot to allow the top of the plant's root ball to be about two inches below the rim of the pot. Add more soil, firming with hands until full within one inch of rim. Insert supports if necessary. Water transplants thoroughly, using a light fertilizer solution if desired. When plants are moved from one stage to another, such as from cuttings to pots or when transplanting a size up, reduce fertilizing until they show signs of growth again.
